Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Bitnax Inc. ("Bitnax", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the DefenderMon service, including the defendermon.com website and the DefenderMon agent software (together, the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and, for paid plans, billing details processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Device and telemetry data. The DefenderMon agent reports operational data from enrolled devices, including device name, operating system version, Microsoft Defender health status and settings, threat detection events, Windows Update status, and agent logs. This data exists solely so you can monitor and manage your own devices.

Usage data. We collect standard technical information when you use the dashboard, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to operate and secure the Service.

What we do not collect. The agent does not read, upload, or scan the contents of your files. File paths may appear in threat detections and exclusion lists you configure; file contents never leave your devices.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service, display device health and alerts in your dashboard, send notifications you configure (such as threat alerts), provide support, improve the Service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your device data for advertising.

3. Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment processing), when required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. Service providers are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.

4. Data security

All communication between the agent, dashboard, and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Data is encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and audited.

5. Data retention

Device telemetry and event logs are retained while your account is active. When you remove a device it is deleted from your dashboard, and its data is purged from our systems within 30 days. If you delete your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@defendermon.com.

7. Cookies

The dashboard uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the dashboard or email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
